World’s first hydro power cascade parameterization in browser released
Based on the feedback that hydro power cascades are not easy to capture without additional tools, we developed a drag and drop interface and released it a few days ago.
Hydro networks can be visualized instantaneously so that a visual parameterization, check and analysis can be realized.
New feature: European-wide derivation of on-off decisions in closed-loop approach
In addition, the simulation procedure has been expanded so the second procedure step for integer decisions and the third step for final optimizations can be done together. This feature can be useful to achieve a particularly high-level of consistency in the derived cross-border exchanges.
Yash Patel starts internship
Last but not least, we warmly welcome Mr. Yash Patel. He wrote his master’s thesis at the University of Freiburg in the field of Flow-Based Market Coupling. He will do his internship at Maon and we wish him a lot of joy and success.
